(Please note all U14’s must be accompanied by an adult during the taster session to learn how to supervise safely in the centre. The adult does not have to climb.)

Everyone must complete an online registration form whether supervising, independently climbing or climbing within a coached or instructed session. Registration Form
Taster Sessions
These are introduction sessions, primarily focusing on safety and enjoyment in the gym. These are open to all ages, but it is essential that a parent / guardian accompanies all U14’s for the duration of the session. Taster Session
Parent / Guardian Supervised
Any youth or novice climber can be supervised in the Centre by an * Experienced / Competent Registered member of BoulderWorld. A parent / guardian can become signed off to supervise safely after a taster session.
Junior Assessment
Any youth climber over 14 years that has experience climbing in indoor bouldering gyms (at least 6 regular visits in the last six months) or has taken part in one of our safety introduction sessions or youth classes and has been signed off by the coach to take the assessment can complete the assessment. On correct completion, the youth climber is signed off to climb unsupervised in the Centre for future visits. Junior Assessment
BoulderWorld Youth Sessions
🌟 Youth Climbing Classes (Ages 3–7) 🌟
Join us for an exciting new term of climbing adventures designed especially for young climbers aged 3–7 years!
Our fun, engaging sessions help children develop confidence, coordination, balance, and problem-solving skills in a safe and supportive environment. Through games, climbing challenges, and age-appropriate activities, little climbers will build strength, make new friends, and discover the joy of movement.
Whether your child is completely new to climbing or already loves being on the wall, our experienced instructors will help them learn and progress at their own pace.
Spaces are limited, so book early and let your child reach new heights this term!
These age groups run on on Friday evenings, Saturday morning and Sunday mornings. They can be easily booked here : Youth Classes 3-7 years
🧗 Youth Climbing Classes (Ages 7–12) 🧗(Junior Academy)
Ready to climb higher, get stronger, and take on new challenges?
Our Youth Climbing Classes for ages 7–12 are the perfect way for young climbers to develop their skills, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether they are new to climbing or looking to improve their technique, our experienced instructors will help them progress through exciting climbing challenges and activities.
Throughout the term, climbers will learn movement skills, problem-solving techniques, climbing safety, and teamwork while building strength, coordination, and resilience. Most importantly, they’ll enjoy an active and rewarding sport alongside friends who share their enthusiasm for adventure.
Join us this term and see how far your young climber can go!

🧗 Teen Climbing Classes (Ages 12–18) 🧗(Senior Academy)
Take your climbing to the next level this term.
Our Teen Climbing Classes are designed for young people aged 12–18 who want to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and be part of a supportive climbing community. Whether you’re just starting out or already have climbing experience, our qualified instructors will help you build confidence and progress towards your personal goals.
Sessions focus on climbing technique, movement, strength, problem-solving, and safe climbing practices, with plenty of opportunities to push your limits and tackle new challenges. Along the way, you’ll improve your fitness, develop resilience, and make friends who share your passion for climbing.
Join us this term and discover how far your determination can take you.

BoulderWorld Youth Squad

Our Youth Climbing Squad is designed for young climbers who are confident on the wall and ready to develop their skills further in a fun, supportive, and challenging environment. Join us at our Open Day to meet the coaches, experience a squad training session, learn about our programme, and see if the squad is the right fit for you.

We are running a Summer training Camp 14th +15th July Team Training Camp
Our Youth Climbing Team is designed for dedicated young athletes who are committed to developing their performance, technical skills, and competitive potential.
Our Open Day offers an opportunity to experience the team environment, meet our coaching staff, and learn about the training, expectations, and pathways available to our athletes.
Our new term Open Day and Try outs is Saturday 22nd August 2026 Youth Team Try Outs
If successful at try outs our program focuses on advanced coaching, structured training, goal setting, and competition preparation within a supportive and ambitious team culture. If you’re motivated to challenge yourself, train alongside like-minded climbers, and take the next step in your climbing journey, we encourage you to sign up and join us for the term.
