Some of the questions we get asked the most.

If you have not climbed in our gym before but have experience in other bouldering gyms, you can simply watch our induction video and complete our online registration form and come anytime – no booking required.

If you have not climbed in a bouldering gym before you will need to watch our online induction video. If after watching the video you feel unsure about taking part, you will need to book into a taster session or get an experienced/competent registered climber* to sign you in for your first visit.

(*Experienced/Competent registered member is an 18+ adult who has registered with BoulderWorld and has climbed in indoor bouldering gyms at least 4 times in the past 12 months, or who has taken part in a taster session to learn how to supervise safely in the centre. We work on a strict 1:2 ratio Experienced:Novice)

Ages 3-13 years – Must be supervised by an experienced / competent registered member* or a centre instructor. Or can join our instructed classes: Here

Ages 14-17 years – Must be supervised by an experienced / competent registered member* or a centre instructor. Can climb unsupervised after taking part in a taster session and successful completion of our Junior Assessment. Or can join our instructed classes: Here

Experienced 14+ who regularly attend centre sessions or climb regularly in other centres can climb unsupervised upon successful completion of our Junior Assessment.
